John has been involved in the building industry since leaving school 14 years ago. A died-in-the-wool Southlander, John now lives just five minutes south of where he was born and grew up, in Mataura.

Having run his own successful building company for the last seven years, John is looking forward to the new opportunities becoming a Stonewood Homes franchise owner are opening up.  "I'm very excited about the new house plans and building innovations which we will now be able to introduce into the Southland area," he explains.

A former rugby player, John is still a keen follower of the sport.  He also enjoys boating and spending time with his family - wife Sarah, son Jakin aged five, and daughter Ruby who's three.

Brendan has always been keen on building so, after spending four years in the gold mines in Calgoorlie, he came home to start his building apprenticeship eight years ago.  "I've always appreciated a really nice house," he says, "and I knew I'd probably never get one unless I built it myself!   When you build someone a new home, they are entrusting you with thier life savings so I always stress the importance of good craftsmanship, and love seeing a happy client shift into a beautiful new home."

Invercargill born and bred, Brendan likes to spend his spare time being involved with local school and community activities, often in the company of his wife Rochelle and three young daughters - Camryn, seven, Rhylee, five, and Mckenzie, four.
